Oimillie Lampwork Glass Beads

I make glass beads using a process called lampwork. All the beads are melted in a flame on a special torch from glass rods, then annealled (strengthened) in a kiln. I make the beads into either jewellery or other items such as cutlery, boittle openers and letter openers.

I have been making beads for about 15 years and I am mainly self taught. I work in a studio based in Walsall.
