About Us
Makers Market Midlands was created by CraftyBun Studio (Holly) & Willis Designs (Rick) in 2018. We met at Fargo Makers Market in Coventry and found that we had a common passion for the potential of building a community of talented makers/artists in the Midlands. Too often we have attended markets that aren't quality controlled and sell items that aren't 100% handmade.
Makers Market Midlands is all about celebrating the skills and talents of local, independent makers from in the Midlands, UK.
At the beginning of lockdown 2020, we received funding from Arts Council England which allowed us to set up our online Makers Directory.
Our website and social media are run voluntarily by us. The website is to help promote all the talent we have here in the Midlands and where customers can come to buy something really special!
Makers Market Midlands directory of makers is ever-developing and we now have over 130 creatives listed!
